Maya Vinokour is a writer, editor, and translator based in New York City. She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Mathematics and German Studies from the University of Chicago. In 2011, she won Academia Rossica’s Young Translator Award, and in 2015 she received an Honorable Mention in the Ezra Pound Literary Translation contest at the University of Pennsylvania. She is the co-translator and co-editor (with Ainsley Morse and Maria Vassileva) of Linor Goralik’s Found Life: Poems, Stories, Comics, a Play, and an Interview (Columbia University Press, 2017).
