LARB Internships

Summer 2024 Internships:

Internship runs June 1st — August 30th


 


General Internship: LARB interns gain real-world, hands-on magazine work experience. This program is designed to train students for careers in editing and copyediting, publicity, marketing, fundraising, educational and public programming, and/or social media on behalf of a major magazine and literary arts nonprofit. Applicants must be rising juniors or seniors in college and able to receive funding or credit from their schools. Application can be found here.


LACDAC Internship: Open to currently enrolled undergraduate (2 or 4-year) and community college students who reside or attend college in Los Angeles County, LARB is a part of the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture funded internship program. This summer, we are looking for a Social Media Intern and a Public Programs Intern. More details and eligibility requirements can be found on the LACDAC website; application can be found here.


Art of Writing Internship (UC Berkeley): Open to UC Berkeley students, this internship is supported by Art of Writing at the Townsend Center for the Humanities to broaden students’ experiences in the literary arts. In addition to the intern’s duties at LARB, the intern will do regular check-ins with AoW and LARB staff to help with career development. Application can be found here.
