Matthew Gleeson is based in Oaxaca, Mexico. He co-translated (with Audrey Harris) Amparo Dávila’s The Houseguest and Other Stories (New Directions, 2018), and they are currently working together on translating the rest of Dávila’s stories. His translation of José Revueltas’s Earthly Days was published this year by Archive 48.
