M.G. Lord

M. G. Lord is the author of The Accidental Feminist: How Elizabeth Taylor Raised Our Consciousness and We Were Too Distracted by Her Beauty to Notice. She teaches nonfiction writing at USC. From 1980 to 1994, she was a syndicated political cartoonist based at Newsday. She has again picked up her pen to draw a graphic novel set in what she considers an ideal world: it has no people in it.
