Christina Soto van der Plas is an assistant professor of Hispanic Studies at the University of California, Riverside. She has published in academic volumes on Latin American literature, psychoanalysis, and critical theory. She writes travel chronicles and essays and has an upcoming book in Spanish about Curaçao.
