Ann Murray

Dr. Ann Murray, who teaches at University College Cork, specializes in the impact of war on visual culture, particularly the memory of war in German visual culture between the world wars. She is currently working on a book on the memory of World War I in the work of Otto Dix. More broadly she is interested in European visual culture between 1845 and 1945. Her latest publication is the edited collection Constructing the Memory of War in Visual Culture since 1914: The Eye on War (Routledge, 2018).
