Suchada Chakpisuth is a public intellectual and longtime journalist in Thailand. She is currently the founder and director of Thai Civil Rights and Investigative Journalism (TCIJ). She is the founding editor of a range of Thai print and online media, including Sarakadee magazine, Dinosaur children’s magazine, and Prachadham News Agency. She has also worked on many initiatives linking education and public life, including being a co-founder of the Midnight University, and she has led research initiatives on alternative education and investigative journalism supported by both the Thailand Research Fund and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation. She holds a BA in Journalism from Thammasat University in Bangkok and is the recipient of a Social Entrepreneur Fellowship from the Ashoka Foundation.
