Sasha Ann Panaram is an Assistant Professor at Fordham University. She received her Ph.D. in English from Duke University in 2020, where she also completed certificates in African & African American Studies and Feminist Studies. Her research, which focuses on twentieth and twenty-first century African American and Caribbean literature, brings together discourses in slavery studies and Black feminisms. Her writing has been published in The Black Scholar. Other public writing and interviews have appeared in Black Perspectives, The Brooklyn Rail, Hyperallergic, and Left of Black.
