S. Tremaine Nelson is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the Columbia University MFA Program, where he was the recipient of a Dean’s Chair Fellowship. His writing has appeared in The Northwest Review, The Southern Review, The Brooklyn Rail, and The Village Voice. A former fiction reader at The New Yorker, he lives in Portland, Oregon.
