Rachel (RJ) Newell is a writer and multidisciplinary performing artist from Wasilla, Alaska. She is a fellow of the 2017 LARB Publishing Workshop at USC, a recent graduate of Antioch University, and an American Academy of Dramatic Arts alum. Rachel is currently Editorial and Business Administrator for Los Angeles Review of Books and works to expand her abilities in creative nonfiction on late nights, weekends, and wherever she can. She is very tall.
