Rachel (RJ) Newell is a Russian-American writer and multidisciplinary performing artist based in Los Angeles. She is a fellow of the LARB Publishing Workshop at USC, a graduate of Antioch University, and an American Academy of Dramatic Arts alum. In recent years, RJ has worn a few hats: actress, model, comedian, writer, and publishing professional. She recently served as Editorial and Business Administrator for Los Angeles Review of Books and now writes on a freelance basis.
