Paul Fry is the William Lampson Professor of English at Yale. His work with detective fiction, children's literature, teaching public school teachers, and art criticism (mostly for ArtNews) has diversified a career focused on poetry, British Romanticism, and literary theory. The most recent of his eight books are Wordsworth and the Poetry of What We Are and Theory of Literature.
