Oindrila Mukherjee is an assistant professor in the Writing Department at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. She has a PhD in literature and creative writing from the University of Houston. Oindrila’s work has appeared in Salon, The Oxford Anthology of Bengali Literature, The Greensboro Review, Best New Writing 2010, Indian Voices, The Times of India, and elsewhere. She is a fiction editor for Kitaab, a journal for Asian writing, and is currently working on a novel.
