Michael Snyder

Michael Snyder, an assistant teaching professor in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma, is completing a biography of James Purdy. Snyder is the author of John Joseph Mathews: Life of an Osage Writer (University of Oklahoma Press) and editor and co-author of Our Osage Hills: Toward an Osage Ecology and Tribalography of the Early Twentieth Century, which features lost writings by Mathews (Lehigh University Press).
