Marlena Williams (she/her) is the author of the essay collection Night Mother: A Personal and Cultural History of the Exorcist (2023). You can find her other work in The Yale Review, Literary Hub, Electric Literature, Catapult, and elsewhere. She also writes about animals for Sentient Media. Marlena is from Portland, Oregon and currently lives in New Orleans with her partner and their two dogs.
