Margaret Porter Troupe

Margaret Porter Troupe, born and raised in Gloster, Mississippi, graduated from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York, with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English.  She was an account executive at The New York Times for 16 years before embarking on In a career in the arts that spans more than 30 years, she has achieved distinction as a producer of cultural events in New York City and in San Diego, California, with her entrepreneurial spirit and passionate dedication to the arts as director of the Harlem Arts Salon and the former owner of Porter Troupe Gallery.
