Joel Rose was born in Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital. His graphic novels, conceived with his long-time friend and writing partner, Anthony Bourdain: Get Jiro! Get Jiro: Blood and Sushi, and Hungry Ghosts were all national best sellers and at present are being made into animated, episodic, television.
