Hannah Manshel is an assistant professor of English at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Her writing has appeared in Criticism, Early American Literature, Women & Performance, Public Books, and Insurrect! Radical Thinking in Early American Studies. She is currently working on a book that re-figures the concept of antinomianism as a way to understand Black and Indigenous resistance to the legal structures that perpetuate slavery and settler colonialism.
