Goldie Goldbloom’s most recent novel, On Division, was awarded the 2021 Prix des Libraires, as well as the Association of Jewish Libraries Book of the Year. She has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Brown Foundation. Her first novel, The Paperbark Shoe, won the AWP Prize and was placed on the NEA Big Reads List. Her writing has appeared in Ploughshares, The Kenyon Review, and in many other fine journals. Goldbloom writes, edits, and teaches in Chicago. She is the mother of eight children.
