Eugene Brennan wrote his PhD thesis on the reception of Georges Bataille and currently teaches at various universities in Paris. His writing has recently appeared in publications such as Theory, Culture & Society, Blind Field: A Review of Cultural Inquiry, and the Dublin Review of Books.
