Carmen Merport

Carmen Merport is a PhD candidate in the Department of English at the University of Chicago. She studies American literature and visual culture in the 20th century. Her writing appears in There Was a Whole Collection Made: Photography from Lester and Betty Guttman (David & Alfred Smart Museum, University of Chicago Press, 2016), and is forthcoming in Criticism.
