aracelis girmay is the author of four poetry collections, including the newly published GREEN OF ALL HEADS (2025). Collaborations include picture books, a chapbook with artist Valentina Améstica, and the anthology So We Can Know: Writers of Color on Pregnancy, Loss, Abortion, and Birth (2023). For her work, she was named a finalist for the Neustadt International Prize for Literature.
