“Gossip” Party

August 23, 2024 2:00 AM — August 23, 2024 4:00 AM

Someone start boiling the water, because Gossip, the latest edition of LARB’s print Quarterly, is almost here and we’re ready to spill all of the tea. Celebrate the end of summer and preview our exciting new issue on August 22 at Steve Turner Gallery in Hollywood. Come at 7 p.m. for drinks, readings, and conversation—yes, even gossip.

Words have the power to pierce experience and identity, to piece communities together or pull them apart. The Gossip issue is dedicated to talk of every type: the porous boundaries between speculation and scandal, rumors and reality, needing-to-know and plain old nosiness. Join us for readings from contributors Ivanna Baranova, Summer Kim Lee, Michelle Latiolais, and Ruth Madievsky

Drinks will be provided by Lubanzi Wines and Topo Chico. Special thanks to Steve Turner Gallery for hosting!
