Los Angeles Review of Books is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This coming year marks our 15th anniversary celebration here at the Los Angeles Review of Books (LARB). In anticipation of the big year ahead, we’ve been thinking a lot about where we started and how far we’ve come with your help since then. From a smart and scrappy Tumblr page run by a group of dedicated volunteers out of our founding editor’s basement, we have blossomed into an award-winning online and print magazine and an essential educational and programmatic hub for the literary arts here in Los Angeles and beyond.
