Tiffany Briere has been awarded a Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers’ Award and a Pushcart Prize. She holds a PhD in genetics from Yale University and an MFA in fiction from Bennington College. Her work has appeared in Best American Essays, Tin House, The Cut, Virginia Quarterly Review, and elsewhere.
