Sunny Stalter-Pace is an associate professor in the English department at Auburn University. Her first monograph, Underground Movements: Modern Culture on the New York City Subway, was published by University of Massachusetts Press in 2013. She is currently writing a biography of vaudeville performer and impresario Gertrude Hoffmann.
