Sonali Kolhatkar

Sonali Kolhatkar is the host and producer of KPFK-FM’s morning show Uprising, based in Los Angeles. She is also the Co-Director of the Afghan Women’s Mission, a US-based nonprofit solidarity organization. She is the author of Bleeding Afghanistan: Washington, Warlords and the Propaganda of Silence. She is also a weekly columnist for Truthdig.com.
