Sadie Hartmann

Sadie Hartmann, a.k.a. Mother Horror, is the co-owner of the monthly horror fiction subscription company Night Worms and the Bram Stoker Award–winning author of 101 Horror Books to Read Before You’re Murdered (Page Street Publishing, 2023). Her second book, Feral and Hysterical: Mother Horror’s Ultimate Reading Guide to Dark and Disturbing Fiction by Women, was released in August 2025. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband of 20-plus years, where they stare at Mount Rainier, eat street tacos, and hang out with their three kids.
