Ruth Abbey is a political theorist with research and teaching interests in the areas of Friedrich Nietzsche, Charles Taylor, Feminist Political Thought, Liberal Political Thought, and Animal Ethics. She is the author of Nietzsche’s Middle Period, Philosophy Now: Charles Taylor, and The Return of Feminist Liberalism, as well as the editor of Contemporary Philosophy in Focus: Charles Taylor and Feminist Interpretations of Rawls.
