Peter Kazaras enjoyed an international career as an operatic tenor for 35 years and, since 1997, has been a stage director for opera in many venues. He recently retired after a tenure of 17 years as director of opera at UCLA. He holds a BA from Harvard College and a JD from New York University School of Law. Born in New York City, he lives with his husband and his poodle in Los Angeles.
