Peter James Hudson is an assistant professor in the Department of African American Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. His essays and reviews have appeared in journals including Small Axe, Race & Class, Radical History Review, Haitï Liberté, StabroekNews, and Black Agenda Report. Hudson recently co-edited a special issue of the CLR James Journal: The Journal of the Caribbean Philosophical Association on “Black Canadian Thought.” He is also the publisher of the digital history resource The Public Archive: Black History in Dark Times.
