Nora Stone is a PhD candidate in film at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, writing an institutional and industrial history of the documentary film market. Her work has been published in The Historical Journal of Film, Radio and Television and Feminist Collections, and her short film Mommy Moments screened at the Virginia Film Festival and Driftless Film Festival. In summer 2018, she is producing and art-directing a feature film to be shot in eastern Kentucky. Beginning in fall 2018, she will teach courses in film studies and production at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
