Michael Kobre is Dana Professor of English at Queens University of Charlotte, North Carolina. His essays and stories have appeared in Michigan Quarterly Review, Inks: The Journal of the Comics Studies Society, South Atlantic Review, Tin House, TriQuarterly, and other journals and essay collections. He’s the author of Walker Percy’s Voices (2000). He’s currently working on a book about superheroes and Jewish bodies.
