Merrill Feitell

Merrill Feitell’s first book, Here Beneath Low-Flying Planes, won the Iowa Award for Short Fiction. She earned her MFA at Columbia University and has been a fellow at MacDowell, Yaddo, Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, and Virginia Center for Creative Arts. A native New Yorker, she now lives in Los Angeles, where she teaches creative writing and writes fiction, creative nonfiction, and mixed-media narratives.
