Mark Storey is an Assistant Professor in the English department at the University of Warwick. He is the author of Rural Fictions, Urban Realities: A Geography of Gilded Age American Literature (Oxford Univ. Press, 2013) and has published essays in Nineteenth-Century Literature and Modernism/modernity, amongst other places. He is currently writing a book about ancient Rome and US imperialism.
