Leigh Claire La Berge is assistant professor of English at BMCC CUNY. In additions to Scandals and Abstractions, La Berge is the co-editor of Reading Capitalist Realism (Iowa, 2014) and the author of articles that have appeared in venues such as The Journal of Cultural Economy, Studies in American Fiction, and The Radical History Review.
