Karoline Huber is a PhD candidate in the English department at the Ruhr University Bochum. Her dissertation investigates generational tensions in the Anglophone climate fiction bildungsroman. Her research interests include science fiction, Anglophone climate fiction, and (de)extinction. She earned her master’s degree in English literature from the University of Stuttgart in Germany. Her MA thesis was concerned with narratological innovation in a range of British, North American, and Australian climate fictions.
