Judith Claire Mitchell is the author of the novels A Reunion of Ghosts and The Last Day of the War. Her work has received the Edna Ferber fiction prize and has been a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award and Harold Ribalow Fiction Prize. She teaches at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she is the Dorothy H. Draheim Professor of English and director of the Program in Creative Writing.
