Judea Pearl

Judea Pearl is a professor at UCLA and president of the Daniel Pearl Foundation (www.danielpearl.org), which is committed to the promotion of East-West understanding, tolerance, and humanity. Pearl specializes in artificial intelligence, human reasoning, and philosophy of science. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and winner of the Benjamin Franklin medal for 2008, and the ACM Turing Award for 2011.
