Jerald Podair is a professor of history and Robert S. French Professor of American Studies Emeritus at Lawrence University, and the author of City of Dreams: Dodger Stadium and the Birth of Modern Los Angeles (Princeton University Press, 2017). He also co-authored Republican Populist: Spiro Agnew and the Origins of Donald Trump's America (University of Virginia Press, 2019) with Charles J. Holden and Zach Messitte.
