Heather Hewett (she/her) is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Between 2022 and 2024, she served as a program officer in Higher Education Initiatives at the American Council of Learned Societies. Her essays and reviews have been published by The Washington Post, CNN, Inside Higher Ed, LIBER: A Feminist Review, and elsewhere. She is the co-editor of #MeToo and Literary Studies: Reading, Writing, and Teaching About Sexual Violence and Rape Culture (Bloomsbury, 2021).
