Erik Martiny teaches literature, art, and translation to prep school students at the Lycée Henri IV in Paris. His stories and articles have appeared in The London Magazine, The TLS, World Literature Today, Fjords Review, Frieze, among others. His novel The Pleasures of Queueing came out in 2018. He has since published a novel in French entitled Ne soyez pas timide. His dystopian satire of Brexit, Night of the Long Goodbyes, is just out with Riverboat Books.
