Elle Kurancid is an independent writer and journalist who lives in the Mediterranean region. Since 2014, she has collaborated with more than a dozen documentarians on in-depth, justice-seeking stories across Egypt, Sudan, India, Syria, Türkiye, Greece, Yemen, Kenya, Ireland, Lebanon, Rwanda, Palestine, France, and the place where she was born—Peace River, Canada (located on Treaty 8 territory, the ancestral and traditional lands of First Nations and Métis peoples).
