Diane Smith

Diane Smith is an award-winning writer and historian who has published four books, including the novel Letters from Yellowstone, and a history of wildlife conservation, Yellowstone and the Smithsonian: Centers of Wildlife Conservation. More recently, she has completed Butte America, the third novel in her trilogy about little-known chapters of Montana history, and is now working on a group portrait of Montana writers in the 1970s. She lives in Missoula.
