Dale Smith

Dale Smith is a critic and poet who teaches at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario. He is the author of one book of scholarship, Poets Beyond the Barricade: Rhetoric, Citizenship, and Dissent after 1960 (2012), and four books of poetry, including American Rambler (2000) and Black Stone (2008). With Hoa Nguyen he edited 10 issues of the small literary journal Skanky Possum from their home in Austin, Texas between 1998 and 2004.
