Caroline Hagood is an assistant professor of literature, writing, and publishing and the director of undergraduate writing at St. Francis College. She is the author of eight books, most recently Weird Girls: Writing the Art Monster (2022) and Death and Other Speculative Fictions (2025). Her speculative memoir, Goblin Mode, is forthcoming in September 2025 from Santa Fe Writers Project. Her work has appeared in Electric Literature, Creative Nonfiction, Lit Hub, The Kenyon Review, The Huffington Post, The Guardian, Salon, and Elle.
