Barbara Abercrombie has published novels, children’s picture books, including the award winning Charlie Anderson, and books of nonfiction. Her latest book, The Language of Loss, an anthology of poetry and prose for grieving and celebrating the love of one’s life, was published in November by New World Library. She received the Outstanding Instructor award and the Distinguished Instructor Award at UCLA Extension where she teaches creative writing. She lives in Los Angeles and Lake Arrowhead.
