Andrew Epstein is a professor of English at Florida State University, and is the author of Attention Equals Life: The Pursuit of the Everyday in Contemporary Poetry and Culture (Oxford University Press) and Beautiful Enemies: Friendship and Postwar American Poetry (Oxford University Press).
