Alison C. Traweek

Alison C. Traweek, a native Texan, teaches classics in Philadelphia. She has published on Homer, writing pedagogy, classical receptions, and American women’s suffrage. Her current research projects focus on the Iliad, the Gorgon, and ritual lament in ancient Greece.
