Since 2008, Carl Skoggard has translated and made commentaries for five books, three of them previously unavailable in English: the little-known Sonnets by Walter Benjamin, addressed to a deceased friend, and Siegfried Kracauer’s excellent and original novels “Ginster” and “Georg”, from 1928 and 1934. Skoggard has also worked as the staff writer for “Nest” magazine and as an editor for RILM, the international database for scholarship in musicology.
