Aleksandar Hemon is a Bosnian-American fiction writer and the winner of a MacArthur Foundation grant. He has written four acclaimed books: Love and Obstacles: Stories, The Lazarus Project, Nowhere Man, and The Question of Bruno: Stories.
Here, he discusses his first nonfiction collection, The Book of My Lives, at the Checkers Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.
